Last week, I received an interesting question by email from a reader of my column in the Los Altos Town Crier. She was searching for natural knee pain relief, and her message echoed what so many people in our community struggle with every day.
It’s a question a LOT of people who are looking for natural knee pain relief ask themselves:
= = =
“Kim, I am really beginning to wonder if anything can be done about my knee.
All of the advice I’ve received from my doctor, from friends, and from what I’ve read online tells me that so many people suffer from knee pain and stiffness, almost as if it’s ‘normal.’
And I get the impression that if it’s not always severe, then I should be grateful for the ability to even get out of bed in the morning.
I’m a 53-year-old lady, tech worker from Cupertino and absolutely NOT ready to give up on life as I know it.
I turned my back on medication years ago, and I’m desperate to avoid going back down that route. I want a solution that supports my knee naturally — something that gives me natural knee pain relief without side effects or constant doctor visits.
I’ve tried exercises – I really have.
A couple of Pilates classes at the local gym too, but they were too painful to continue.
I lost some weight on the advice of my doctor and even bought a book about how to manage this problem myself.
So far, I’m not doing it very well, am I?
Some friends of mine say that I should just give up and accept it, but I’m not wanting to do that.
I’m getting seriously worried about my long-term health. I’ve noticed my back tightening and feeling stiff too. My exercise is limited because I feel so stiff, and that can’t be good for health in general, can it?
I’m now worried the weight will pile back on — which I know will make the knee pain even worse.
I feel stuck!
And I’m not sure what to do, because although I’m open to Physical Therapy, I once saw someone who said she was a PT, and it didn’t do much to help me.
Is it just me?
And a friend of mine who is much younger than I am also tried PT and only got exercises.
If physical therapy couldn’t help someone younger, what chance do I have?
So although I like the sound of what you’re offering, I’m still skeptical and not 100% sure about seeing another physical therapist. What do you advise?
Thanks for listening, keep up the nice columns.”

When I read Amy’s message, I immediately understood her frustration. She, like so many others, believes that every PT clinic is the same — and that her chance at natural knee pain relief depends on luck.
But that’s simply NOT true.
Some physical therapists do very little hands-on treatment. Yet at PhysioFit, you can expect 80–90% of your session to be hands-on: massage, stretching, and manual techniques — all designed to provide faster, safer, natural knee pain relief without relying on medication or invasive procedures.
It’s the FASTEST way to help you move better, feel healthier, and stay active.
It’s also the HARDEST work for the therapist — which is exactly why many clinics avoid it and stick to handing out generic exercises and basic advice.
But this hands-on approach is what makes PhysioFit different. It’s why so many people seek us out when they want real, natural knee pain relief that actually works.
If you’re skeptical or still on the fence, that’s completely normal. You may want to speak to someone first before booking an appointment — just to make sure physical therapy is the right next step for you.
