The PhysioFit difference

Why patients choose us.

PT in the Bay Area is full of high-volume clinics that double-book and rush you out the door. We don't do that. Here's what sets the experience apart.

/01

A full 55 minutes, 1:1.

Every visit is 55 minutes with one board-certified therapist. No bouncing between three patients. No tech-led exercises while your therapist is in the next room with someone else.

/02

Whole-body, not body-part.

Knee pain often starts at the hip. Pelvic floor issues often involve the rib cage. We treat the whole person, not just the body part that hurts.

/03

Specialists, not generalists.

Our team includes pelvic floor experts, manual therapists, OTs, and Pilates-trained rehab specialists. You get matched with someone who actually treats what you've got.

/04

Out-of-network on purpose.

We don't accept insurance contracts because they cap session length and dictate care. We provide superbills you submit for reimbursement, and we'll help you understand your benefits up front.

/05

Direct access in California.

You don't need a doctor's referral to see us. Skip the extra appointment and the wait. If we ever need imaging or a specialist, we'll help you get there.

/06

The Happiness Guarantee.

If we're not the right fit for you, we'll tell you and help you find someone who is. We'd rather lose your business than waste your time.

What patients say

Real results, in their words.

★★★★★

"I was totally skeptical coming in. Even a little resistant. But I had the best session ever. I keep waiting for 'the catch.' How could this have possibly worked within an hour, something I've been carrying around, in and out of therapy, for years? Two months later, I still feel free of my burden."

★★★★★

"Janet's knowledge of anatomy and how it affects the function of body parts is golden, unmatched by any other physical therapist or even doctors. She quickly figured out my problems and found solutions that resulted in instant improvement and pain relief. Incredibly grateful."

First visit, answered

Common questions.

How long is the first appointment?
A full 55 minutes. Your therapist spends most of that time listening, evaluating your movement, and starting your treatment. You'll leave with a clear plan and likely some hands-on work or exercises to start at home.
What should I bring?
A photo ID, your insurance card (we'll generate a superbill you can submit), and any imaging reports or notes from other providers if you have them. A doctor's referral is not required in California.
What should I wear?
Wear something comfortable that lets you move freely and gives your therapist access to the area being treated. Workout clothes or athleisure work great. We have private rooms if you need to change.
Do you take my insurance?
We're an out-of-network clinic. That means we don't bill your insurance directly, but we'll provide a superbill you can submit for reimbursement. Most PPO plans cover a portion of out-of-network PT. The fastest way to find out exactly what's covered is to fill out our benefits check form, and we'll verify and send you an estimate before your visit.
Where are you located, and where do I park?
We're at 1000 Fremont Ave, Suite 108, Los Altos, CA 94024. There's free parking right at the building. Our location page has photos and turn-by-turn directions if it helps.
What if I have to cancel or reschedule?
Life happens. We just ask for at least 48 hours' notice so we can offer the slot to someone else who needs it. You can call, text, or email us to reschedule, no awkwardness.
Will I see the same therapist every time?
Yes, in almost every case. Continuity matters, both for your progress and for the relationship. If your therapist is ever out, we'll let you know in advance and match you with someone qualified for your case.
