  • Maybe you’ve pulled your Hamstring? Did you know that it’s SAFE to start running again within DAYS despite being in some discomfort? Find out how far you can push it and why a certain type of PAIN when you start up again is a GOOD thing BUT why this other type of pain, really isn’t. The two different types of pain are talked about in week 1, and you’ll be able to recognize each when you look on page 7.
  • And if you’ve pulled your Calf muscle, find out on Page 10 what you can do in week 2, that will make a huge difference and WILL stop you from running with the FEAR of being re-injured
  • Maybe you’ve twisted your Ankle and sprained ligaments? If you have, you’ll soon know HOW quickly you can get going again and what to do to stop SCAR Tissue from making your ankles as week as glass!
  • Fallen and damaged your Knee Ligaments? What you do in the FIRST WEEK is the most important. EVERYTHING is covered on Page 20 and find out why most people are SHOCKED about what they should already be doing by the time they reach week 2
  • Like to run after work but being stopped by a burning pain on the outside of your knee? It’s like to be RUNNERS KNEE or ITB Syndrome. Page 23 shows you EXACTLY what to put on, how long to stop for and why and what activity is your BEST way to keep FIT, whilst the pain drops

If You’ve ALREADY RESTED FOR WEEKS And Your Problem Shows NO Sign Of Recovery... I Know Why It Hasn’t Healed...There Is HOPE, If You Act Decisively…

It’s no surprise to me that so many frustrated runners, golfers and cyclists are knocking on my door and asking for help. And it’s simply because of the FACT that most muscle and sports injuries can NEVER heal properly, if left alone.

Despite what some people think, REST is NEVER the answer to solve any sports or muscle injury. Since 2004, I haven’t witnessed ANY injury, in any sport, that is helped by pro-longed rest.

Sure, with rest, the pain will drop. But pain free at rest - that’s not the goal. And what about the scar tissue that builds every day that you are RESTING and is clogging up the muscle or ligament, making it tight, stiff, inflexible and ready to tear again at any time? That GETS WORSE BY THE DAY and is the number one reason why most runners, golfers and cyclists breakdown within weeks of starting up again.

But I know just what to do to stop that… It involves lots of skilled and very Deep Massage, introducing exercises and exercising (there’s a BIG difference!!!) at just the right time and even looking at your LOWER BACK to check that problems aren’t coming from there – because so often, “they do”! And it maybe that I need to look at your feet to check for a muscle imbalance, or advise specific exercises that will make you stronger and more flexible and mean for less chance of being injured again, any time soon.

And when I do all of that for you, I can GUARANTEE that you will see an improvement and it will happen fast. EVERYTHING that I suggest is geared towards you being active again, as fast as is safely possible.

But before I show you how I can help, please let me tell you WHO I can help:

Here's Who I Can Help…

If you can say YES to any of the following, then you are right to be looking for Specialist advice form a Sports Physical Therapist and I can confirm that you are looking in the right place to find it:

  • You’re a golfer or runner with a dull ache or even severe pain in your Achilles tendon
  • You’re a runner suffering pain on the OUTSIDE of your knee caused by a tight IT Band (A.K.A. Runners knee)
  • You’ve got or think you might have shin splints, a calf strain or an ankle sprain and it seems no matter how much time you give it, there’s no signs of a significant improvement
  • You can’t understand why the hamstring you injured weeks ago, the one that SEEMS to be fine when you walk or jog, won’t let you pick up the pace without getting tighter and more painful
  • You’re a cyclist or golfer with a stiff or achy, even painful lower back
  • You value the enjoyment you get from your health too highly to risk suffering any long term complications, and so you want to seek the best advice possible, straight away
  • You don’t want the “painkillers and rest” option nor do you like the generic exercises so often suggested

“Look Who Else Came For Specialist Physical Therapy At PhysioFit And Left Feeling More ACTIVE, HEALTHY And HAPPY…In Just A Few Short Weeks”!

"I broke my hip and was in a walker and wheelchair for almost 4 months. I was so thrilled to begin walking again and I didn’t want to think I needed to do any physical therapy. Well, 6 months after regaining my mobility, I was struggling with pain. I wasn’t sure what physical therapy could really do for me given that I was mobile and walking. I thought I would just have to deal with the pain along the scar line. My hip doctor suggested that my pain could be originating from the hardware that is in my femur and hip. Or it could be scar tissue that had developed, and he suggested trying physical therapy. Mika at Physio Fit has been amazing She discovered that my scar tissue had attached to my muscles, and that was causing a lot of my pain. She has worked on releasing the scar tissue through muscle work and ultrasound. I didn’t realize going in to therapy that my muscles on the injured leg were still so weak. Turns out I was barely able to balance on my right leg without falling over! Mika has been doing strengthening and balance exercises with me and I am amazed at the difference. Also, about one month after starting my therapy sessions for my right hip, I fell on my stairs at home and broke my left ankle! Mika helped me recover from this injury too, and because I was proactive about doing physical therapy on my ankle, I have no remaining problems with that ankle. I only wish I had started therapy on my hip from the beginning. I believe it would have saved me from developing scar tissue and becoming weak on my right side. I am thrilled with my results and am so thankful to Mika for helping me. Just the absence of pain in my daily life has made a huge difference! And Mika has a great sense of humor and is fun to work with. I look forward to my therapy sessions with her. The office staff and assistants at Physio Fit are polite and friendly, and they are very helpful and proactive in finding out about insurance coverage. I would highly recommend Physio Fit to my friends and family and my advice would be to NOT WAIT! Sooner the better to start your recovery!"

"When I broke my clavicle in half, couldn't lift my arm to parallel to the ground. I had a recommendation from my doctor to go to Physical Therapy. It would increase my range of motion and start to build strength up in the affected area and I would absolutely recommend PhysioFit. Enjoyed the amount of personal attention given to getting me better. I've been to other physical therapy places in the past where I was just given a list of exercises, but then left to my own devices. Now, I can lift my arm all the way up again. I wanted to be able to go back to Ultimate Frisbee and I can."

"I have a very active lifestyle and when I get injured (a rotator cuff injury and, more recently, a strained MCL in my knee) I have come to rely on the therapists at PhysioFit to get me back to the things I love to do as quickly as possible. Time and time again, they have made an accurate assessment of my situation, set aggressive but realistic goals and fixed me up stronger than before! Thanks team!"

"I first came to PhysioFit when my ankle was severely strained from stepping on a tennis ball while playing (ouch). After several weeks in cast, my foot's muscles somewhat athropied, and my doctor ordered physiotherapy. My therapist was great in giving me the exercises I need on site and at home that restored my foot. My daughter sprained her ankle too in a staircase accident, and she went through a similar regiment with a different therapist. They are all very qualified and have good patient manners. We didn't have any problem with finance since we were covered by our insurance, and the staff were always polite and clear about our responsibilities. Now I take beginner group TRX classes there, and the instructor Lori is very patient. Even though it is beginner, I get a very good workout for ~$15 each time."
